 he success of the last two\, Blue Rifle & Pistol Club are holding another 
 practical-style gallery rifle & pistol match at Cheylesmore Range Bay B in
  the evening (17:00-21:00) on Thursday 29th August 2024. It will be run by
  seasoned international practical and gallery shooters\, and will involve 
 various sizes of IPSC targets on turning target frames at 5-25m in an IPSC
  Virginia Counts format (defined maximum round count on each stage with pe
 nalties for extra shots). Think of it as a three-way crossover between pra
 ctical shooting\, speed steels and gallery rifle. There are 7 stages of sn
 ap shooting\, rapid reloads and disappearing targets. They have been caref
 ully designed to be achievable for all but still test the best of shooters
 . The stages will be released nearer the time. The timings on these stages
  will vary slightly for the pistol-calibre rifle division to allow for the
  slower speeds of lever action rifles. Ryan\, our NRA-qualified Instructor
  and Range Safety Officer\, will be on hand with additional ROs to ensure 
 the shoot runs smoothly and for any coaching you require. So even if you a
 re new to this type of shooting there will be plenty of guidance on hand! 
 Divisions include: - .22 rifle - Pistol-calibre rifle (e.g. 9mm\, .38\, .3
 57\, .44 etc) - Long-barrel pistol - Long-barrel revolver A survey will go
  out shortly before the event to gauge which divisions people wish to shoo
 t. Club guns are available for hire for those who need them. Even if stati
 c shooting is not usually your thing\, this will be phenomenal fun and gre
 at practice for the practical shooters amongst you! There is a (warm!) hos
 pitality room with view of the range that has tea & coffee making faciliti
 es\, as well as disabled-access toilet facilities. Snacks will be provided
 ! There will be opportunity to test and zero guns before the match starts.
