It will be run by seasoned international practical and galle ry shooters\, and will involve various sizes of IPSC targets on turning ta rget frames at 5-25m in an IPSC Virginia Counts format (defined maximum ro und count on each stage with penalties for extra shots). Think of it as a three-way crossover between practical shooting\, speed steels and gallery rifle. There are 7 stages of snap shooting\, rapid reloads and disappearin g targets. They have been carefully designed to be achievable for all but still test the best of shooters. The stages can be viewed here. The timing s on these stages will vary slightly for the pistol-calibre rifle division to allow for the slower speeds of lever action rifles. Ryan\, our NRA-qua lified Instructor and Range Safety Officer\, will be on hand with addition al ROs to ensure the shoot runs smoothly and for any coaching you require. So even if you are new to this type of shooting there will be plenty of g uidance on hand! Divisions include: - .22 rifle - Pistol-calibre rifle (e. g. 9mm\, .38\, .357\, .44 etc) - Long-barrel pistol - Long-barrel revolver A survey will go out shortly before the event to gauge which divisions pe ople wish to shoot.
