Sterling Sport UK .22 PRS Match

Precision Rifle Shooting (PRS) is an American long-range and precision rifle-based shooting sport derived from practical shooting. It involves hitting a sequence of metal targets at varying distances, shooting from multiple supported and unsupported positions. In addition to the variety of targets, there will be different ‘prop’ layouts on the firing point, which aim to offer diversity and challenge to each shooter.

The courses of fire will be designed specifically for .22 LR rifles, and will be challenging but achievable for all. Full guidance will be given on the day but we strongly advise that you have an idea of your bullet drop over 50-200 yards! The round count is 50-80.

This match includes time for shooters to zero their rifle and test their DOPE from 09:00 to 11:00.

Shooters are expected to bring their own rifles (semi auto or bolt action). Ammunition and club guns can be supplied by prior arrangement.
